This page describes the supplied demo code. It is separate from the encrypted storage behavior of the full CipherVault application.
Temporary entries
The demo starts with fictional logins, a test card number, a note and an identity. Edits exist in page memory. Reset or reload to restore the samples. The demo does not read or write a real CipherVault vault and does not store entries in localStorage, cookies or a database.
Use samples only
Do not enter real passwords, payment details, identity documents or TOTP keys. The demo does not encrypt your temporary edits. The sample TOTP key is public and must never be used to protect an account.
Network and hosting
The supplied code has no analytics script, advertising tracker, contact form or application server receiving demo entries. The browser requests the site's pages and assets from its hosting provider. That provider may process request metadata such as IP address and user agent. Hosting settings or scripts added by the site owner can change this behavior.
Clipboard and external links
Copy controls write only when you select them and the browser grants permission. Clipboard contents may be available to your operating system and other software. No automatic clipboard clearing is promised. Opening an external sample website navigates away from this site; do not enter credentials there.
The full application
The purchased source application provides encrypted local storage and additional workflows. It has different requirements and limitations, described in the buyer guide. Neither this demo nor the full app has received an independent security audit.
